I chose to do the Earth because it sounds interesting to me, because there is a lot of stuff about the Earth. Nicolaus Copernicus was the one who presented the heliocentric, which that is the thing that found out that the Earth was Sun-centered. The planet Earth was founded in the year 1262. The Earth is very interesting because there are a lot of facts about the planet Earth. The reason why the Earth has a lot of information on it is because this is the only planet that can support life. The Earth has a nickname that it is called "The Big Blue Marble." The planet Earth is so unpredictable because of all the things it is made up of. Which it is made up of water, air. life, and land. We the people that live on Earth, have a protective atmosphere because it contains percentages of, 78 percent of Nitrogen, and 21 percent of Oxygen. The Magnetic Field is the result of the planets core which is nickel-iron and then also it is also the result of the planets rapid spin it has.

Compositions and Origins

Planet Earth came from; well i believe it came from some big rocks or meteors hitting it. The planet Earth has some stuff made of it. That stuff inside the planet Earth would have to be, well something like this, there is Gravity on Earth. Gravity is the part of the atmosphere, which holds us down on the ground, like where we aren't floating or anything like that. Another thing that the Gravity does is that it helps hold the atmosphere in place, so it doesn't move or anything like that. Earth also has Oxygen in it. The oxygen lets us breath on Earth. If we didn't have oxygen, we would all probably die because there wouldn't be any oxygen to let us breath. The air helps us breath as well. Which you can say that air is like oxygen because they both let us breathe. Carbon Dioxide is also in the planet Earth, well in its atmosphere that is.

Obervations

When we all live on Earth, we really cant observe anything. The reason for that is because we see the things that are right in front of our faces everyday. But if we go out into space then we would be able to observe the Earth because we would be in outer space and we would be able to see the whole Earth. Sputnik was the first satellite to go up into space, which was October 4, 1957. The people that sent it out into space were the Russians. Sputnik was like the size of a beach ball. It took about approximately 98 minutes to orbit the Earth. Sputnik was about 183.9 pounds. There have been about thousands of other satellites that have been up into space since Sputnik went up into outer space. There was a tide that changed and that was on January 31, 1958. The tide that was changed was from the United States sending off another satellite into space, that satellite was called Explorer 1.

Just The Facts

Well the facts about the planet Earth is well, this planet that we all live on is the 5th biggest planet in the solar system. It is the only planet in our solar system that supports life. That is important because we all get to live on an amazing planet, and we can call it home for us too. Most of the Earth is covered by water. The rest of what the Earth is covered by is the continents that we have on this planet. The thing that contains most of the water on this Earth is Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is the biggest ocean that we have. The fact that i just gave you, that is important because we need water to survive and since it is the biggest ocean, we would assume that we should definitely have enough water. Our planet is the only planet in our solar system that only has just one moon. The other planets have more than just one moon. In the song to remember the planets, the planet Earth, for the song is the phrase eager.
